Raymond is in a way re-launching its designer brand. Being one of the most reputed companies in the apparel industry it is all geared up to relaunch the Be: stores. Earlier these stores had garments that were being designed by the leading fashion designers. But at this point of time the company has came up with its own set of designers. The newly appointed COO, Mr. Deepak Khetrapal, said, "Be: is being reinvented and would have a separate set of designers. We plan to bring back the brand during the course of this year."
Recently Raymond has also launched ladies collection for the brands like Color Plus and Park Avenue. The COO added, "Each of our brands has a separate design team and we will be meeting the all apparel requirements of women." They are also planning to re price their products. Raymond is making sure that their brand is considered a high-profile one. Besides its FMGC brands like JK Helene Curtis it will pull up the prices of toiletries such as Premium and Park Avenue.
"There would be a new pricing strategy for both the brands of Premium and Park Avenue. There would be an increase between 100 and 150 per cent in the pricing of the range," Mr. Khetrapal added. This apparel division is estimated at Rs. 600 crore and it has also been the fastest growing subsidiary of Raymond Ltd.
