The VF Arvind Brands Pvt Ltd has informed that a fire recently broke in its finished goods warehouse. The company is actually a Joint Venture of the Arvind Mills Ltd and the official statement released by the company has stated that there was no harm caused to the goods stored in the warehouse, due to the fire. The company has also informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about the incident through the official statement.
According to one of the sources from the company, they are now investigating the main reasons behind the fire and they are also evaluating the damage caused by the fire to the warehouse. However, none of the officials from the company could be contacted to have a comment on the issue. The industry sources have informed that the share of the company closed at Rs 48.50 on Tuesday. This price was 0.21 per cent up from the closing price of Rs 48.40 in the previous day.
