Volkswagen Group luxury sport car maker Audi has commenced the assembly of the
A6 at Skodas Shendra facility near Aurangabad. The locally produced Audi A6 Start with an
additional choice of two new powerful engines: the 2.8 FSI V6 and the 2.7 TDI V6.In addition
to FSI Direct injection, the 2.8 FSI V6 engine incorporates a fundamental innovation in the
form of the audi value lift system. This technology enables variables control of the value lift
and translates into a significant fuel saving at partial throttle. The car is assembled on a line
dedicated for audi and in according with audi quality standard and audi trained workers. The
Part sets manufactured in Germany is assembled at Scendra using a CKD (Completely Knocked
Down) production system. Local assembly has also brought down the prices. The customer
price advantage will be form 140,000 INR up to 210,000 INR, depending on the engine. Prices
for the Audi A6 now start from 3,890,000 INR up to 4,500,000 INR,(ex-showroom Mumbai )
Prices for the audi A6 Comfort package will be INR 250,00. Compared to the prices for the
Individual equipment items, this saves customer up to 50 per cent. The comfort package is
available for any version in the A6 Range.
