Danfoss, a leader in mechanical and electronic components, bestowed with the Excellence Award by the Institute of Economic, Studies, New Delhi. The companys vice president P Ravichandran was honoured with the Udyog Rattan, joining the ranks of other leading Indian industrialists who have received this honour. The awards were presented in the presence of Bhandare, Governon of Orissa, Dr Bishma Narain Singh, former Governon of Tamil Nadu and eastern states and GVG Krishnamurthy, former Chief Election Commissioner of India, at a function held in Delhi recently. "I am honoured to receive this award which is a tribute to all our employees. Danfoss is where it is today not just because of the strengths of its products and services but also because of its adherence to a core set of values which transcends its employees across the globe," said Ravichandran. The Udyog Rattan Award and Award for Excellence are conferred by the Institute of Economic Studies every year.
