Hykon India Pvt Ltd Thrissur-based has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pune-based Powertronics for marketing and distribution of its solar heaters and lighting products in Western India, to install the solar water heaters in residential and commercial sites.
Hykon which has already installed solar energy-based street lights in various municipalities is into installing solar heaters and lighting products, provided government comes with a move to provide subsidies and grants to panchayats, municipalities and corporations for installing solar street lights.
