A new Nrich protein drink has been launched in the Indian market by the Ruchi Soya Industries (RSIL) and this product launching has marked the companys first venture into the health beverages segment. The company has launched the Nrich protein drink under its flagship brand Nutrela and the officials of the company have stated that the drink would be available in a number of three flavours like Apple Kiwi, Apple Peach and Multifruit.
While commenting on the product in the launching occasion, the Head (Foods Division) in RSIL, Mr. Sarvesh Shahra said, "While all segments of the beverage market are evolving, the growth seems to be directed more towards healthy, light and low-calorie drinks, in particular organic and fruit juice varieties". Mr. Shahra was also talking about the method following which they have made the Nrich and said, "We at Ruchi Soya Industries have created Nrich using an innovative technology and recipe that includes ingredients from natural sources capitalizing on the growing consumer demand for premium and nutritious products". He further informed that the drink is a 100% preservative-free protein drink and it is offering wholesome nutrition of fruit juices to the consumers. Mr. Shahra further said that there will be two pack sizes available in the market and the sizes are of 200 ml and one liter.
