IVRCL Received Rs 79 Crore Contract From APIIC
The major infrastructure service provider company named the IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects has recently announced that it has received a new contract from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). The officials of the company have stated that the contract is having a total valuation of Rs 78.85 crore and it has been awarded for the construction of a 5.75 lakh square feet research complex and 2.86 lakh square feet staff quarters for the Indira Gandhi Centre for Advanced Research on Livestock (IGCARL).

According to one of the top officials of the company, IGCARL is currently having a total fund of Rs 400 crore and it is coming up over an area of 650 acres in Pulivendula of Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The official said that the project is scheduled to be implemented within a period of three years and this is going to be the first-of-its-kind facility for livestock research and vaccine production in India. The official added that the state government has took this initiated.

The IVRCL has already released an official statement regarding the issue and said that the project is primarily intended for the conservation of indigenous germ plasm, development of feed and fodder resources, improvement of animal reproduction, development of cost-effective vaccines and disease diagnostic tools and on-farm validation and also for transferring the developed technologies.
