Cobra Carbide Bangalore launched its 2008 global edition catalogue. This catalogue covers the entire range of carbide cutting tools including endmills, drills, reamers, roughers, burrs, and inserts. Rakesh Aghi, president & CEO, announced this at Bangalore. According to Aghi, this will allow Cobra to provide a complete carbide tooling solution to all its Indian customers as it does in 30 other countries. Cobra Carbide is a manufacturer of carbide cutting tools, headquartered in Riverside CA and serves the automotive, defence and aerospace industries with its 800 distributors worldwide. Cobra India based at Bangalore is now catering to its Indian customers along with other customers in Europe, North America and Asia.
Meanwhile, Cobra Carbide has been awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 certification from TUV Nord, Germany. Shivaji Salagode, director - sales & marketing, said, "Achieving the milestone of ISO 9001 : 2000 have proven, yet again, Cobra Carbides commitment to deliver the quality products and services at the highest global standards, to its customers worldwide". The ISO 9001:2000 Certification is awarded to Cobra Carbide after detailed evaluation by TUV Nord and ensuring that Cobra Carbide Management Systems and Quality Management System conform to the specified global standards.
