The Kirloskar Brothers Ltd has stated that it has recently received a letter of intent (LoI) from the Irrigation & CAD Department of the state Government of Andhra Pradesh. The company officials have informed that the LoI has been given in respect of the Rajiv Sagar Lift Irrigation Project (Dummugudem).
According to one of the top officials of the Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, the company has got the LoI for the construction of main pumping station at the Pamulapally and another five intermediate pumping stations and also in three subsidiary pumping stations. The project is also inclusive of the electro mechanical, hydro mechanical works and also the site development for the project. The official further said that the total value of the contract is standing at Rs.338.92 crore.
