In a recent announcement, the Lahari Resorts have stated that it is planning for an expansion in India and is thinking of adding another 200 deluxe rooms at its premises at the Bhanoor village on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The company said that it will make an investment of over Rs 20 crore for the purpose.
According to the Managing Director of Lahari Resorts, Ms Swapna Cherukuri, "Apart from increasing the number of rooms, we are also working on various innovative measures such as go-karting facilities to attract more patrons". She made the comments on Thursday and said that the new rooms became necessary in view of the increasing demand and number of visitors. She informed that a number of over 24,000 visitors did visit the resort in the last year.
Ms Cherukuri added that the new rooms are going to be ready within a period of the next two years. She also said that the company is further planning to promote wedding parties at its resorts, apart from attracting individuals and families. In her words, "We are offering the entire resort for weddings for Rs 5 lakh, including food. Compared to some function halls, this is a reasonable offer".
