Avesthagen and DuBiotech joined hands
The Indian biotechnology company named the Avesthagen Ltd has informed that it has joined hands with the renowned company, Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park for marketing and launching new biotechnology products in India, in the future. Both the companies have signed an agreement together and under the terms and conditions of the agreement, they will integrate some technologies that are based on the traditional Indian medicine and genomic research.

The company has already released an official statement regarding the matter and informed that the companies will integrate the technologies into some predictive, preventive and personalized healthcare products. The founder and CMD of Avesthagen, Dr Villoo Morawala-Patell and the Executive Director of DuBiotech, Dr Abdulqader Alkhayat, have signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

According to the official statement released by Avesthagen, the newly tied up partners are going to launch and commercialize an eco-friendly and biodegradable plastic, named BioPercept in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, in the initial period. After that, the companies would establish a conversion plant for processing the BioPercept within the next two years. The statement added that the companies will also cooperate each other in exploring future opportunities in the environment adjusted crops, agri-biotech, bio-actives for the food and beverage industry, a genome project, herb-based projects and also others.
