One of the giant business process outsourcing companies operating their activities in India, the WNS (Holdings) has recently announced that it has entered into a Joint Venture (JV) with the Advanced Contact Solutions (ACS). The company has stated that the ACS being considered among the leading companies in the Philippines that provides business process and customer care services to its customers. The company officials have also informed that the newly formed JV company will be named as the WNS Philippines and WNS will be holding the majority stake in this company.
While talking about the types of activities that the newly formed JV company, WNS Philippines will be operating, one of the top officials of the company has stated that the company will offer contact center services to its global clients across industries. The official said that the company has already set up its first delivery centre in Manila and is intending to scale to 200 seats in the initial period. The COO of WNS Group, Mr. Anup Gupta was also commenting on the issue and said, "With the joint venture, WNS is executing its strategy to expand its global delivery network. This expansion further enables us to bring a large high quality talent pool to help solve the business challenges of our clients while diversifying the geographic concentration of delivery".
Mr. Gupta was explaining the main reasons behind forming the new JV company and also informing the main benefits of WNS from this JV and said, "In forming the venture with ACS, WNS has partnered with a local market leader that shares our vision of delivering high quality BPO services to clients". One of the leading companies providing market research services named Frost & Sullivan has recently stated that the Philippines is currently the third largest English-speaking nation in the world. The company said that the country is producing a number of 350,000 college graduates every year at the moment year and is also delivering a highly-educated talent pool to provide BPO services to the world.
