The retail subsidiary company of Dabur India, named the H&B Stores, has recently launched two of its beauty, health and wellness retail stores under the brand name newu at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad. The company has entered the South Indian market with the opening of these two stores and the officials of the company have informed that the stores will offer a variety of international and national beauty and health brands to the air travelers.
Informing that the stores will offer the brands in the categories like personal care, baby care, fashion accessories and male grooming, the Chief Executive Officer of newu, Mr. Peter Baker said, "We, at H&B Stores, are delighted to bring the newu brand to Hyderabad through these twin outlets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport". He informed that one of the outlets will be operating out of a kiosk in the check-in departure area and be offering convenience items like gifts and daily essentials to the passengers on the go. He added that the second newu store is located in the Village Shopping Area in the passenger arrivals greeting area and this outlet is going to offer a range of health, beauty & wellness items, besides the snacks, drinks and last-minute daily essentials.
Mr. Baker was also talking about the other plans of the company regarding its business in India and said, "We shall continue to aggressively expand our presence in the organized retail market with a presence in both high streets and quality malls. In the coming months, we will be opening fresh newu stores in Delhi/NCR, besides stepping into newer markets like Bangalore, Chandigarh and Ludhiana, as part of plans to grow the newu presence to about 20 stores by the end of the 2008-09 fiscal".
