The financial subsidiary company of the Reliance Capital, a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG), named the Reliance Money has announced that it has already finalized an aggressive expansion plan for the overseas market. The company officials have informed that the company is looking for a huge expansion in the upcoming financial year in the overseas market.
According to the CEO of Reliance Money, Mr. Sudip Bandyopadhyay, "We will be setting up offices in six-seven strategic locations around the world in 2008-09". The industry sources have informed that the company has already earned a lot of recognition for distributing brokerage and financial products and the company has already identified some locations like Kuwait, Bahrain and Doha in the Middle East, for the expansion.
Mr. Sudip Bandyopadhyay added that the company is also eyeing the cities of Singapore and Hong Kong in South Asia for fulfilling the purpose. He said that they are going to open a new office in London within the next six months and the company is also expecting the Middle East branches to start functioning during the first quarter of the fiscal. He further said that the company is in the process of seeking regulatory approval for its Singapore office, at the moment.
