Aiming to tap the fast growing home cleaning products market in the country, homegrown FMCG major Dabur is planning to expand its range of kitchen and home cleaners and fresheners. The company is targeting a 10 per cent market share of the Rs 1,500 crore home cleaning products segment in the country, over the next two years.
The company is planning to capitalise on the widespread housing and construction boom across the country, which has also led to rise in the number of modern homes and increasing awareness about hygiene. The company is rolling out a new hard surface cleaner under the brand name of Dazzl, which is useful both as kitchen and floor cleaner. Dabur has entered into collaboration with the New York based International Research Laboratory to develop a Dirt Trap Technology for the Dazzl floor cleaner.
As part of the expansion, the company is also planning to bring out more brands in the toilet cleaner segment. Currently it operates with the Sanifresh Thick and Odonil. Last month, the company had introduced the spray variant of its mosquito repellant range Odomos.
