In Chennai, Heidelberg formally launched their print Media Academy. The premier print equipment manufacturer now boasts of eighteen dedicated academies for the print industry including the highly evolved training centre in their headquarters in Germany along with Asian centers in Kuala Lumpur, Shenzen, Tokyo and Kabul.
The event included the inauguration and open house of the academy at the house of the chrompet, Chennai, which was followed by celebrations and dinner.
Speaking on the occasion through an electronic broadcast, Bernhard Schreier, CEO of Heilderberg Druckmaschinen, Germany expressed his happiness over fulfilling his promise of a PMA in India during the 50th anniversary of Heildelberg in India. He also announced that PMA India would host the first ever international Executive Forum; which would provide an opportunity to printers from all over the world to discover the many possibilities that India has to offer to them.
"PMA India to begin with, offers courses on material related printing problems, press adjustment and standardization and pr-press workflow and standardization" said Rajendra Kumar Anayath, head PMA-India.
