St Francis Press has slashed make ready times by half following a move into four-color output with a Rs2.5 Cr four-color Ryobi press purchased in 2007.
"Its a trouble free and easy to operate machine that ensures superb quality job and makes it a printers delight. We chose the Ryobi press as it provide the technology we needed at a good price. This first installation of the 920 in India has actually given me a first mover advantage in the market5. Our press mainly prints magazines and brochures and the double demy size was critical to our productivity. The Ryobi has allowed us to give better prices for jobs while being able to do more work as well," says St Francis Managing Director, Rajan PS Sabastian.
Indo-European Machinery, a Bengaluru-based supplier from where St Francis Press purchased the press. Sabastian added "IEM is 100% trustworthy. The 920 was pressed into production, 37 hours after its landing and this was achieved by a Japanese technician and engineers from IEM. From planning to production IEM engineers hand held us and made sure that there ere no surprise during the installation ensuring that the unthinkable was easily achievable."
