Paper Products, packaging company has reported a 14% rise in net profit in the first half of the current calendar year ending 30 June 2008, because of higher realization in specialized products.
Net sales at Rs330.64 Cr, recorded a growth of 21.8% over Rs271.55 Cr during the first half of this year in comparison to the period last year. The profit before tax shot up by 17.4% at Rs17.50 Cr as compared to Rs14.90Cr.
The Company reportedly achieved sales of Rs172.40 Cr in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit before tax at Rs5.72 Cr recorded a marginal growth from Rs5.55 Cr in compared to last years period.
