Indian Printing Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers Association (IPAMA) and the Association for suppliers of printing and converting of technology (NPES) of USA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 12 September 2008 at hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi. The event coincided with the conclusion of the Indo-US Print Summit.
"We have laid the foundation for a real understanding for starting a training centre with the support of the members of IPAMA and NPES. We hope to benefit the graphic arts industries of both the country through technology transfer, joint ventures and outsourcing." Said Sanjay Gupta, president of IPAMA
Ralph nappi, president NEPS said: "We are looking forward to having good relation, good friendship, good business, good trust and ultimately the confidence will help us form joint ventures and outsourcing in the challenging Indian market, which is very important for us and its time to enjoy the ride."
IPAMA and NEPS will provide each other with the list of their members so that there can be interaction between them for joint ventures and outsourcing of skilled manpower, and trade partnership between India and US.
