The North India Printers Association (NIPA) set up the NIPA school of Graphic Communication to provide technical training in the field of printing and packaging. The three-year training programme was initiated in Ludhiana in collaboration with School of Graphic communication. One of the main objectives behind the move is to fill the gap between the change in technology and installation of sophisticated computerized machines, and the lack of skilled and semi-skilled workforce. The basic training is provided at Ludhiana whereas, the final year training is provided at Glasgow Metropolitan College (GMC) has also arranged an advance-learning course for the professional engaged in the printing and packaging industry.
