Madame aims to double its retail outlets by 2010
Madame, the leading brand of womens western wear has opened its 13th retail outlet in Saket, New Delhi responding to the increasing demand in the Capital.

The present tally has reached a number of 51 in India after this addition. The 550 sq. ft franchisee outlet stocks the entire Madame merchandise.

The opening is a part of Madames retail strategy, which includes plans to open exclusive stores and shop-in-shops in all major fashion markets across the country. The brand already has a strong Zonal Representation Network of over 600 Multi Brand Outlets and is also marketed through the big-format stores including Lifestyle and Central.

Madame strongly positions itself as The Women brand and whets the appetite for fashion of women from all walks of life. It has been able to carve a niche for itself in the ready-to-wear market with its innovative styling that couples international fashion trends with day-to-day functionality.

Primarily known for its wide range of casual wears, the introduction of a limited edition of formal and party wear in its Winter/Fall collection 2008 is another addition to the youthful offering to accentuate the Work hard and party harder spirit.

Bipin Jain, Director, Madame said, "Exclusive retail presence ensures increased brand equity and opportunity to gauge customer response directly. Moreover, we want to provide an unvarying international experience of shopping to our customers across all outlets. Plans are afoot to increase the number of retail outlets for Madame, from 51 to 100 by 2010. We see huge potential in the Capital and have plans to expand further in the city."
