Reliance Industries has declared to begin exporting fuel from its new SEZ refinery at Jamnagar this month. The company is also considering setting up refinery projects across the world.
RILs President (Refinery Business) P. Raghavendran said in New Delhi, "During the course of this month, products (from RPL) will be sold."
A unit of RIL, Reliance Petroleum, last month commissioned its 5,80,000-barrels-per-day only for exports refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat.
According to Raghavendran, the companys focus currently is on fully commissioning and completing the new refinery. It would look for opportunities for setting up new projects world over thereafter. He added, "We are looking at opportunities around the world where we can contribute."
