BHEL gets Rs. 50, 400-mn contract from Jindal Power for setting up 2400-MW Plant Bharat Heavy Electricals limited (BHEL) has secured a prestigious contarct for setting up a 2,400 MW thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh. The company has already successfully executed 4x 250 MW units of O P Jindal Super Thermal Power Plant at Raigarh. To this effect, Jindal Power Limited has reposed confidence logical excellence, by placing another order valued at Rs. 50, 400 million on the company.
BHEL will install four units of 600 MW each in this extension stage of JPLs Power Plant at Raigarh. The order is testimony to the confidence reposed by IPPs in BHEL capabilities. It also reinforces its leadership status in the execution of thermal power projects involving the supply of the equipments, suited to Indian coal and Indian conditions.
