Bharat Heavy Electricals limited bags two iders for the supply and installation of the main plant equipments for Mauda Super Thermal Power Project (STPP) in Maharashtra.
The contracts, tentatively RS.21,00 million, have been placed on BHEL by NTPC ltd for setting up the 2x500 MW steam Generator and Steam turbine Generator packages at MAuda STPP, located in NAgpur, MAharashtra. These units will add 24 million units everyday to the grid on commissioning. The orders were won by BHEL under ICB, as its offers were found techno-economically the best. With these orders, NTPC has once again reposed confidence in BHELs proven technological excellence and capability in executing projects of this magnitude.
BHELs worl in the contract involves design, engineering, manufacture, supply and erection, and commissiong of Steam Generators along with associated Auxiliaries, Electrostatic Precipitators and controls and instrumentation.
