V-Guard Industries Ltd, Indias electrical solutions provider, has launched its new storage water heater, "Sprinhot".
The water heater saves up to 50% of the electricity costs. A series of tests conducted by the Electrical Research and Development Association has confirmed this.
ERDA tests confirmed the compliance with IS 2080-1993 standards. It showed that the energy loss of V-Guard water heaters was only 0.564 kwh against the highest BIS prescribed value of 1.138 kwh. Energy saving is the need of the day, considering the power crisis prevalent in our country and the ever growing usage of electricity.
