Atlas Investment Management LLC, through a newly formed entity, Atlas Dentek Holdings LLC, has made a major investment in DenTek Oral Care, Inc. (DenTek) for an undisclosed sum. It is Atlas Investors second announced investment since its formation in 2008.
DenTek, based in Maryville, Tenn, is a leader in premium niche oral-care products. The company enjoys strong relationships with top U.S. retailers including Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Publix and Kroger and it has produced historical double-digit top-line growth. The company was launched in 1984 with the Dental Pik and has since pursued a singular goal of providing innovative solutions in the oral-care space, embodied in its credo, "Oral Health for Life."
John Jansheski, DenTek founder and Chief Executive and Chief Innovation Officer, said, "We are excited and proud to partner with Atlas Investors. As part of its investment, Atlas Investors will obtain a seat on the DenTek Board of Directors.
DenTek is a leader in niche oral care products and was founded in Petaluma, California, in 1984 by John Jansheski who remains DenTeks CEO and Chief Innovation Officer to this day. From its inception, DenTek has been focused on providing innovative consumer oral care products.
