Chai Direct, Chai or tea supplier has started offering free shipping options for a large number of featured chai tea mixes and even some concentrates.
This move successfully helps Chai Direct to offer wholesale chai tea to coffee houses and restaurants, as well as individuals who wish to purchase chai tea by the case. Smaller orders will also be entertained but a small shipping charge will apply.
Chai Direct President, Gary Osborne said, "Customers want free shipping, and we are committed to working with brewers to keep costs down so we can pass on the savings. Free shipping is just one way we continue to do that."
Gary added, "With delivery direct to the customers door at no shipping charge and with wholesale chai pricing by the case, Chai Direct simply cannot be beat."
All chai tea dry powder mixes are eligible for free shipping when the order threshold reaches $59, which roughly coincides with the wholesale case price in most situations. Free shipping for chai mixes includes Big Train Chai mix, Oregon Chai mix, and all David Rio chai dry mix.
Gary further added, "A real challenge occurs with the heavy chai concentrates due to the high UPS postage rates. Yet, right now we are offering Free Shipping on all chai super concentrates made by The Chai Company of Vancouver."
Chai Direct is expecting to expand the chai tea free shipping to other brands of chai concentrate as well.
Gary elaborated, "Even when the order falls below the free shipping threshold, we can still be very reasonable in shipping costs throughout the Midwest and even the East Coast, since we are shipping all our chai tea from Indianapolis. Of course the shipping prices climb for us to get chai product out West, but we are implementing a price cap system to stay competitive even here."
