Maruti Suzuki has launched an online club called Swift Life for all Swift-owners to celebrate Swift becoming the fastest car model to reach the 3-lakh milestone.
The company has started this unique initiative to bring all Swift owners on an official Maruti Suzuki platform. The company calls for all Swift owners to visit www.swift-life.com, join the online community, interact with like-minded people, and share their experience.
www.swift-life.com has high interactivity features like freewheeling (discussion forum through user generated content moderated by site administrator), Rearview (sharing travel experience on a Swift), Opinion Please (opinion poll), Tune-Up (users can seek expert advice on issues with their cars), Freeway (free downloads), and Joystick (gaming zone).
Moreover, there is a Google map application for members where Swift-owners can tag his/her car on the map by selecting a city, followed by the sector or pocket where s/he lives. Members living in that area can thus come to know about each other. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the domestic car industry.
Speaking at the launch, Maruti Suzuki Chief General Manager Mr. Shashank Srivastava said, "Swift represents the taste of Young India that simply loves the latest and the best in the world - be it styling, technology or lifestyle. No wonder that the Swift has a large community of Young Indians who love this car for its looks and contemporary styling as much as for its driving pleasure and ride comfort.
