Essar Steel is reportedly planning to launch a service centres in Chennai each with an investment of Rs750mn. These centres would serve its clients in auto and white goods sectors.
The company has also announced two more centres to set up each in Pune and Delhi soon. The centres would offer value-added services on basic hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel products to the customers, the report said.
The Chennai centre would serve its customers like Temple Steel and other auto majors like Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, TVS and Wheels India. The plant has already got an order worth Rs250-300mn, the report added.
