Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd (HGSL), a leading outsourcing solutions firm, has tied up with Sistema Shyam TeleServices to manage the customer care operations of their MTS brand in Chennai today.
Systema Shyam Teleservices Ltd has licenses and spectrum to provide mobile telephony services on the CDMA platform in all 22 circles across the county and is operating in the state of Rajasthan, operating under the brand name of MTS.
Sistema Shyam TeleServices has launched its services in South India in March 09. In Chennai the company provides high bandwidth and a self protected backbone to its customers connecting various cities in the circle. HGSLs customer care center in Chennai will cater to MTS prepaid customers offering contact center services. The number of agents will be hired on the call volumes projected by MTS based on HGSLs scalable delivery model.
It is expected that on an average about 100 agents will be hired and this will be scaled up to 300 within the next 24 months. HGSLs customer service representatives will cater to English, Tamil and Malayalam speaking customers. HGSL has two centres in Chennai employing 2500 employees.
