DX-1821-IR is easily adaptable to a wide range of traffic scenarios and is aimed at community networks, net cafes, and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
The new router belongs to Daxs portfolio of new-generation Networking Access and Connectivity products. It is developed to offer specialised and comprehensive Networking Infrastructure Solutions.
DX-1821-IR uses a super-fast embedded CPU and has 5 built-in 10/100M TX self-adapting Ethernet ports. These ports can be configured in any WAN/LAN port combination to meet the various needs of Internet broadband access routers, including those of telecom carriers, large and mid-sized enterprises, and broadband communities, using direct Internet as well as VPN tunneling.
DX-1821-IR supports up to 200 concurrent online users, in a NAT-enabled environment, without heavy delay or downtime. It also offers powerful data processing and support for many mainstream broadband access technologies. It comes with a built-in firewall with rich options to frustrate illegal access and virus attacks.
