The lack of demand from retailers and good supply from producers has reportedly decreased the prices of Groundnut oil.
Price of Groundnut oil is decreased by Rs5 to Rs615 from April 25 closing level of Rs 620. However, refined palmolein ruled steady at Rs 433.
In case of the non-edible section, Castorseeds bold fell down by Rs 10 to Rs 2,515 from Rs 2525 and castoroil commercial also eased by Rs 2 to Rs 533 as against Rs 535 previously. However, Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 615.
Coming to the futures section, castorseeds June contract continued lower at Rs 2,490 and drifted further to Rs 2,462 before ending at Rs 2,472 from previous closing level of Rs 2,501, showing a fall of Rs 29, sources said.
