Maveric Systems, one of Indias leading dedicated software testing companies, has extended its Operations and R & D facilities in Chennai today.
These facilities will help Maveric Systems to expand their infrastructure to meet the growing demands from clients. Maveric is increasing its investment and focus on Research & Productivity Tools development.
This new facility is situated at the Larson & Toubro Estancia, GST Road, Chennai and the new research and Intellectual Property Development facility is located at the IIT Madras Research Park at Adyar.
The company has invested a total of Rs. 8 crore, Mr. K. Chandrasekar, Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has informed. Maveric expects to move into these new facilities by July 2009.
Venkatesh, Director and Co-Founder, Maveric Systems stated, "In the current market conditions, clients are more willing to explore offshore delivery models. Being a niche player, it is also important for us to strengthen our Intellectual Property through increased focus on Research & Development and Innovation." He also said "This move will help us consolidate our leadership position in the Software testing domain and achieve the projected 35 percent growth during this fiscal year."
The offshoring facility at GST road will cover an area of 25,000 sq ft, in two phases, with the first phase scaling up to 200 employees by the end of this year.
