Religare Enterprises has acquired the controlling stake in Maharishi Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (MHDFC).
Board of Directors of the company has approved the proposal to sign an agreement with MHDFC at its meeting held on May 28, 2009 to acquire its controlling stake.
Following to the above said acquisition, MHDFC will become the Companys subsidiary. MHDFC is engaged in the business of providing housing finance under license issued by National Housing Bank (NHB).
